Review

The good: black levels more than other sets of edge-lit, color accuracy linear grayscale, image controls and a series of changes, slim and stylish panel cm deep, large and streaming content through widgets and applications well-integrated platform, 3D compatible; 2D to 3D conversion system works better than expected.

The bad: Extremely expensive; provision of uniformity and off-angle viewing, light black levels of the local fixed table full occultation, while the black areas tinged blue 3D pictures phantom exposed along the edges (talk) is no 3D glasses , terrible remote.

The bottom line: The 3D is still a work in progress and the quality of 2D images is short on one of the best available, but high-end Samsung UNC8000 series offers more features, solid performance and a unique style. Among the high-definition TVs we reviewed, the series UNC8000 is the first 3D TV, the first edge-lit LCD with LED local dimming-based, and the first example of applications for the platform of the Samsung TV. and best "image quality specifications for the LCD business in 2010, packs more features than ever, and still manages to measure less than an inch thick. As you can imagine, not cheap.
