LG Infinia 55LW6500 55-Inch Cinema 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV with Smart TV (Included: Four Pairs of 3D Glasses)This is my first time leaving a review on product I bought online. First of all .... WOW. I think it's an amazing TV. For a while,in my history, I've been waiting and waiting to finally get a television until now. I did my homework, read the TV reviews in different way, and what they offer. I am the person of the film and large HD picture is really important to me. I was checking the 5600 and was very happy with what I saw at Best Buy. The reason I bought the 6500 was because of the price at Amazon (updated picture quality and 240 Hz also helped. The price was so good, in fact, that probably would not have been able to get this TV otherwise.

The drawbacks are not very many and not too much of a game-changer. One, there are no audio outputs on your TV is not an optical output. If you have a system of his inheritance which has an optical input, is not the end of the world. For an extra ~ $25 or you can get a stereo adapter, which transfers the optical signal to analog composite or RCA coaxial. $100 to get one that will do Dolby Surround (I had to do). And one off bit of space, and I was trying to get a new home theater system, but it was necessary for me to get (and save a few hundred dollars more), which has a ton more gaming devices and video use. It 's easier to run a single audio output to connect your home theater system and everything else on television do not have to change the settings too. I think there is a lack of audio output with the games of most new cases. The digital age takes over, I think.

We have not looked at the 3D source content, but are completely blew up the conversion from 2D to 3D. We watched TV for HD sources, the series "Oceans" (a lot of underwater photography) and Blu-ray for arial view of Italy. Both were amazing. The underwater pictures, as if we looked out the window of a submarine, and arial shots as we were actually looking through a window of a helicopter. Our hats are off to developers of software from LG! The effect is like looking through a window, but as with any depth of field is created at a distance from the screen. Nothing obvious in the room, but the effect is very realistic depth of field.

HD 2D image is fantastic. Converting 3D is just fantastic, but with bluray, or even HDTV. I watched the final baseball, basketball and hockey in 3D forced. Impressive. I also think that HDTV makes the picture look better. Blu-Ray 3D - The first night I received the TV, I jumped into the real tough Tron in 3D and I was absolutely blown away. I know that there is much talk of shock absorbers against liability and loss of quality between the two, believe me, I was too nervous to ...... image / detail was beautiful. If there is no loss, and I would be hard to say no, not worth the debate when you add the cost of non-3D glasses.

PS3 3D game - is just great. Black Ops and MLB The show is much more fun. Bring your game to the next level. I have not experienced lag, as mentioned in other reviews, but I have my Tru-Motion to put down. Set-up and Menu - Set up was easy and intelligent TV features are great. Quick and easy to navigate. The fact that there is a phone jack head was great. I plugged my computer speakers Klipsh and the sound is perfect for the size of the room that we have at this time. It saves the need to buy a surround sound / receiver right away. The sound / volume of the television of today is not bad, I mean it lacks range, but hey, it's a flat screen. With all the negative talk, I expected the sound is much sweeter than / worse than it is.

I know this is not a coach super-critical, but a person who is waiting to be awesome, this TV is. If in doubt, do not worry, that's all. I suggest you go through the color scheme. What makes the difference and does not take much time. I had some friends the other day and showed them some of these characteristics and we were surprised, especially the 3D part. Hope this helps!

Overall Customer Rating Are 4.5/5
