Samsung UN55D8000 Great 3D TV, Worth for Price

Thursday, September 29, 2011

I bought this 3D HDTV to replace my old 42" LCD Vizio that I bought 6 years ago. I did a lot of research online and decided it was either Sony or a Samsung based on recommendations of my friends and online guide. I went to my local electronics shop to see some of the televisions in action. Although we have seen in recent years the model of this HDTV. Even though beautiful, It have a black metal stand for my TV, so I though the money bezel thickness would stand out. I spoke with a colleague and I have said about the new 2011 model. A Once I saw this, I knew it was TV I wanted. I did a little shopping and found on Amazon had the best overall deal price . I was a bit skeptical about how to make a major purchase and order it online.

I've heard some complaints about the companies used to ship televisions. I must say that I had a good experience. The delivery was made in the first hour of my delivery appointment window. The box the TV was a bit damaged at the bottom, but nothing to worry about television was brought in and I about. My inspected and wow this thing is a work of art. also the delivery boys were setup, they had not yet seen the new model. The TV was a little cold to be kept in stock and on the truck so I put my everything and connected all the extras (home theater, Xbox 360, PS3, cable box, etc.) but I have no power connection in about two hours to leave TV and avoid heat damage.

Once I turned on, It was greeted with a simple and easy to follow installation and wireless network television. I read a poor review of this TV showing the LED backlight has been limited since the edges visible, and I agree. I do not see the source of the backlight at all. this is by far the most beautiful on the TV market. I will, however, had full range of LED backlighting rather than the dynamics of board.

My only complaint (if you can even call it that) is the remote. it is a bit heavy because of the full QWERTY on the back and I haven't been able to get the QWERTY side to sync with my TV, but continues to say no .. I would have liked to see the touch-screen remote that was included with the series before series 9000. But on the scale of this child. I have had this TV for a short period of time, but I highly recommend this TV, if it is within your budget.

With beautiful image, 3D, lots of HDMI, USB, WiFi and SmartTV from samsung is a great option for those who market high-end LED-LCD HDTV

VIZIO 32 Inch Class : This is a 3D Game Changer

Sunday, September 18, 2011

Vizio 32-inch HDTV is a 3D first-class movie experience at home and very convenient for the first time setting. If you want to the 3D cinema experience at home this is best.

When you see 3D movie, you are given pair of passive 3D glasses. If you feel comfortable and lightweight glasses (like sunglasses), then take a pair to home (where permitted), because they work perfectly with the Vizio television series of passive 3D Theater (not active Battery 3D glasses). This is brilliant for Vizio, LG and others as to encourage viewers to get the same 3D experience at home and motivate thousands to look at this easy to use 3D Theater.

Passive 3D glasses: The Vizio 3D TV offers excellent 3D for a beautiful range of angles, and best of all, the passive 3D glasses are all the major theaters (Real D, IMAX 3D, Disney 3D, etc.) work perfectly with the Vizio 3D cinema experience without the need for batteries and 100% quality in 3D / effect adapted to passive 3D glasses included Vizio HDTV. This means that you can earn hundreds of glasses of theaters that allow you to take home (except Imax 3D). The advantage of this? The glasses light and easily fit over your glasses, the extremely low cost, easily replaceable, the whole family can see the cost of a 3D film for the family, able to tilt the head to the left / right to work in any so that you have provided, in line with the 3D.

ACTIVE VS PASSIVE 3D HDTV EXPERIENCE:
I compared the Vizio 19 pounds Passive 32" and Sony Bravia active 3D HDTV 46" (in friend's house), and I can say that both look great. 5 ft is the suggested viewing distance, but you can have your face on the screen and still see 3D work if you prefer to get that close. Take a tape measure and you will see 4-5 feet is perfectly comfortable for most detail.

At this moment, I am two ft away from my 19-inch computer screen as I write this to give you the perspective that 5 ft 32-inch HDTV is not as far away as some might imagine. Less than 4 ft, you can receive a very thin film screen texture does not affect the 3D effect. Remember, this 32" Passive 3D image is 1080p that smaller than say a TV 50" LG 3D HDTV dislayed passive house at Best Buy. Better yet, liabilities Vizio offers a great 3D experience at the point of a brighter color shades are barely perceptible.

Downside is your head should be approximately centered in the middle of the screen at any distance of 4' and over, to get the best 3D effects with minimal ghosting, or as a 3D movie, no ghost at all. (Ghost image is the image is not completely hidden by the narrow lens of eye opposite. This happens even with 3D active).

3D Features: If you take pictures in 3D or 3D video made Side by Side, top-down, then you can easily see in 3D with Vizio TV Side by Side, high viewing options below. 3D provides the depth that the film or the photo was taken in only drawback is that I have not found an option to adjust the 3D effect with the Sony Bravia 3D, so if you have a topic very close to the point of view to better display the 5' as the eye can focus more easily on it. It really is not a problem.

TV Interface: The controller seems to be the only way to easily control all functions, so you do not break. Fortunately, it is sturdy, and rubber buttons respond well to each item. Batteries included.

TV Packaging: Available in a sturdy cardboard box, includes 1 pound medium TV, 19 pounds, 2 pairs of 3D glasses passive (such as theaters, you can also use the theater, 3D glasses, and get the exact same effect). Includes screwdriver, screws, instruction manuals, detachable power cord, etc.

Construction Quality TV: TV is a professionally designed, made of sturdy material and well put together. It also 3-inch thin side, and only 19 lbs.

TV performance: I counted 18 seconds for the image to displayed after pressing the power. A little slow, but the power of PS3 game or Blu Ray takes much longer in comparison. The performance is impeccable in this order. No problem, period. Also attracted $13 of energy per year if 5 hours of listening to a guide energy days.

PS3 performance: looks great with 3D games and 2D games on condition that the correct settings on the PS3. 3D Blu-ray looks great, including Resident Evil Afterlife 3D IMAX 3D, 3D Alice in Wonderland, etc. ..)

TV OPTIONS: Good selection of options and settings. Sound quality: This includes surround sound through multiple speakers of 32-inch. The sound is solid and well made, with nice bass and treble always looking for the ability to optimize the bass / treble, but also includes Internet connections ready. A lot of ports for HDMI (HDMI with regular work in 3D here), USB ports and USB flash drives, etc.

So it is (light passive glasses) 3D Theatre HDTV, the way to go? Absolutely. If you enjoy the 3D experience to cinemas, bringing pair of RealD 3D glasses to watch 3D on your new Vizio theater. The tide has finally turned with a Vizio 32" affordable 3D HDTV. Buy Now, I do not regret it.

Customer Rating and Review

My Vizio 32 Inch Passive 3D LCD TV

Customer's Rating and Review

I have had this TV for a month now, even bought a Vizio 3D Blu-ray DVD. Before buying this TV I also got a 3D camera Aiptek digital camera (3D comes with an HDMI output), then for a month, I used the three elements together. I also bought five 3D BluRay discs, which I think are wonderful and very realistic. This TV also displays the 3D mode called SBS or side by side very well.

At work, we have several plasma screens on the wall for viewing the state in our department, etc. to manage a lot of heat and very close to the situation looks horrible, and they are burned in the images from computers that are connected. So I was a fan of LCD since they arrived years and would never buy a plasma set.

This TV uses passive 3D putting a mask on the screen to enter the polarization different on different horizontal lines on the screen. If you shine a flashlight on the television is turned off when the reflex is probably a rainbow-4-mask. This series uses the same 3D glasses as in the theater for many films (Real) and comes with two pairs. I noticed the ones that come with the television films are not as dark as sunglasses, I continued to cover ... Meatballs.

I can not find any difference between the 3D image of the game and my greatest 2D Samsung LCD series is about a year and a half. I would say that the DVD I've seen some 3D now, I would describe the images as stunning and extremely realistic. The difference between active and passive 3D shooting games should be slight because the "problem" is the active set are so small that you really need to watch out for her while watching most of the time.

The 3D viewing angle is a bit limited. You must be at or below the screen. The more you have the smallest TV in the display space. This type of projecting a 3D image in a cone that widens with distance, but at a height of 32 inches (approximately) can not be too far away from the observer. I use about two feet from my eyes and cover the entire sofa and beyond, so theoretically I could have 05/04 spectators at a time.

This TV must be set manually in 3D mode, when you present 3D content on the HDMI port. He is constantly scanning the entrance to make sure it still will return to 3D or 2D mode on its own. It only accepts 3D 3 HDMI ports, no other item, such as tuner, WiFi, or composite video inputs. This TV can detect one of three types of 3D signs and briefly put a dialog box on the screen to turn on the TV in 3D mode, which is done by pressing a button on the remote control in a few seconds or return to 2D mode. And the player who makes the 3D content in a HDMI port should be recognized by the TV as a 3D real source. So, even with 3D content can be downloaded online from SBS TV will not allow you to access the menus in 3D, unless the player is also in electronic form can shake hands with the TV and moving the handle 3D data by hand.

Do not be fooled to buy an HDMI cable for high prices, especially of Monster Cable, which is a total rip-off. A regular old cheapie HDMI cable works fine until you need a very long cable length.

From the middle of the current 3D cinema is still young, you will see scenes in films that make your eyes are like the muscles are drawn. I expect they will learn over time what works and what does not and solve this problem. Sometimes, the films tend to over-use "hit you" scenes, which have agreed to short bursts, not sustained or repeated, you will see today. Hopefully the weather will get better. This TV is good depth, but in my eyes / brain tricks jumping screen often causes discomfort to eye muscles.

Pros: for the money, it's about the best buy in a 3D TV at this time. Easy to control, I never read the manual. Simple set-up with a standard 95 cent HDMI cable to the 3D Blu-ray player was about all it takes. Wireless wifi for web apps built or more you can download. And the remote has a QWERTY keyboard on the back. Decent sound but no bass to speak of. Has optical output for sound from the HDMI ports and presumably from the tuner or any other input.

Cons: the TV is a bit slow to respond to changes from the remote. The TV is constantly watching for a lack of 3D input and is constantly trying to put itself back into 2D mode. It will not switch into 3D mode on it's own, you must push buttons on the remote to manually start that mode. This is important: it will ONLY accept 3D input from the HDMI ports, not from the internet or any other input. 3D input must be from a player device which can handshake with the TV or the 3D mode never enables.

VIZIO 32 Inch 3D HDTV End of waiting for Cheap and Best 3D HDTV!

Customer 's Review and Rating

I am extremely stoked on this 3D TV. I waited, like many, to TV with these features to hit the price point of $500-700 so this is great price for me. My last game is almost the same as 2 years ago, minus the 3D capabilities and on-line and I must say this Vizio 3D TV has really improved for image quality. The blacks are darker and 2D performance is just fantastic. I was very happy with my first I had no problem throwing Vizio mixture and after a weekend of use all I can say is "wow". Once outside the park with it and started calling the TV just as it could.

The first thing I did after connecting and configuring the wifi, which was a breeze with the on-screen was turning black ops COD on my Xbox 360 and 3D lighting. Holy cow is impressive, the gun feels like it is in your hand and the game world gains a variety of depths. There is disappointment, Crysis also supports two 3D and while the effect is not so dramatic, there is still very good.

I searched the Internet and came across a game called 3D Xbox LIVE Arcade Infinity, I suggest you grab the free demo at least. This is a simple 3-D shooter, but made me think things were going to flash a slap in the face more than one occasion. Then on the PS3. I took the engine just for this storm apocalypse TV and I'm glad and did great game, great 3D as well.

I had a 3D blue ray IMAX Wild Ocean, and again I was very pleased with the 3D performance. Glasses (providing 2 for this) are stylish and comfortable and are not looking at all flashy or embarrassing. All my connections are HDMI for digital audio is delivered from source in this way, once again, super simple optical digital output for TV plugs directly into my Yamaha 5.1 receiver and I changed the parameters of Dolby Digital and sound is superb wow!

I'm not interested in the online functionality of this 3D TV, I was more about 3D feature, but after playing with it and I adore this new dimension will be used all the time. Weather, Yahoo and flutter are all great, but the icing on the cake is the widget you are a subscriber and a big fan of the Rhapsody service and the ability to digitally deliver my library and playlists and radio stations to nearly bring my receiver to my tears eyes. I do not know if the music is in surround sound 5.1 or less, but the way the music wraps around and full fills the room is one of the best application that I've ever heard. About 30 days trial of Rhapsody is available on the widget, and only a fool would not try for free.

So there you have it, the TV, glasses, remote control and yes, all the supplied screwdriver. Kudos Vizio to move to the next level of enjoyment to the media for five miserable c-note and thank you for the screwdriver sweet you should really print the logo on the Vizio TV to remind me of my great every time I open my box tool. Come to think of where my sharpie?
