Friday, April 13, 2012

I tested the Samsung 3D LED TV model C8000, which is considered "New" and "best picture" of Samsung in this year, I have just a few minutes to played out fantastic  functions. I believe that some one are not familiar with 3D TV and I would like to pushing tell you in this review.

Samsung UN46D8000 3D LED HDTV Every Bit As Good

Thursday, January 26, 2012

All of the Smart TV from Samsung ar the art deep for entertainment, The Samsung UN46D8000 3D LED HDTV sizes 46 Inch. For a commitment strongly in the development of 3D TV to reach the highest image quality and complete connection.

The Samsung UN46D8000 46 Inch 3D LED HDTV has occurred with any modern design, the capabilities of the art by Samsung One Design bezel is slender as come for visual impression of more screen, less frame and Samsung's cinema-quality 3D technology brings realism to be displayed in 3D movies and TV programming. buy a 3D TV from Samsung is definitely worth it.

  • Two pairs of 3D glasses included in box
  • Samsung Smart TV
  • 3D HDTV
  • Full HD 1080p resolution
  • Auto Motion Plus 240Hz with Clear Motion Rate

I saw this 3D TV when I walk into a department store and I decided to buy it on the same day. When TV came up with one word that I say Wow! and now I have to get more information from Samsung's website, where it was felt that the motivation cost for me for purchase of Samsung TV in this year, because I have not found any problems. (I probably would not use it much).

The black level is wonderful. For the 3D effect are cool and I have to leave this is my first 3D TV, I saw a film in 3D in some theaters but I've never had that experience at home. For features that are included with this TV is great, I like the added NAS support, it works really great. I have a Synology NAS and when I connect it at the first time on my home network the TV detected my NAS and listed it as Synology. I would little comment about DLNA, it is no User Interface in graphic art or pictures for the movies, however the titles show will work just fine.

Pros: The level of black color and normal HD programs are crisp and clear, it does not make me tired eyes for watch it, with a small bezel making it perfectly compatible with the wall of my house. The features for it to be perfect and many others.

Cons: Exceptions are the remote, I want to remote control like iPhone, I think the keyboard is still too small for me. I want this more than a little bit port connection whether it is HDMI, USB or Optical port.

However, the overall picture of all of this 3D TV. I was very happy with it and I think that within 1 to 2 years, I still get the fun of it, certainly. I give it a full five star rating.

Samsung D8000 's 3D Material Test

Saturday, December 24, 2011

Last year, it’s fair to say that out of all the major manufacturers’ 3DTV efforts, we were most critical of Samsung’s. While none of the LCD-based 3D TVs really enthused us when it came to 3D (due to annoying crosstalk artefacts).

Samsung’s offerings had two other issues that rival LCD TV makers managed to avoid. First, the tri-dimensional modes of the company’s 2010 3D-capable displays were obviously 60hz-centric, because any European-style 50hz video input to the TV showed obvious judder in its 3D display mode. Secondly, Samsung’s 2010 3D LCDs and Plasmas featured poor quality scaling with 3D signals. Scaling in 3D is required for any content that doesn’t deliver Full HD 1080p to each eye, meaning that 720p 3D and Side-by-Side 3D sources were affected. These two issues meant that it was difficult to recommend last year’s Samsung 3DTV models for use with the Sky 3D channel in the UK, since the video signal is both 50hz and side-by-side encoded!

This year, Samsung has thankfully fixed the scaling issue, meaning that side-by-side encoded 3D material reaches the screen looking as detailed as it possibly could, without any “eroded” details. We ran our own Side-by-Side 3D resolution test chart into the UE55D8000, and were glad to see that all of the fine details were reaching the screen. As for the quality of the motion in 3D, we came across some interesting behaviour.

First, we tested a 3D Blu-ray Disc film (at the 24fps frame rate) on the Samsung UE55D8000, and noticed that the [Motion Plus] system doesn’t behave the same way in 3D as it does in 2D. In 2D, if we selected the “Clear” [Motion Plus] mode, films would be reproduced without any motion interpolation, that is, without any “soap opera effect”. In 3D, all of the [Motion Plus] modes cause interpolation to take place, which isn’t ideal for films, which begin to appear video-like.

The only way to see the picture without any “false motion” being added by the TV was to turn the [Motion Plus] system off entirely, which meant that the only motion we saw was that which existed on the disc in the first place. Unfortunately, this meant that 3D movies played back with some 60hz “telecine judder”. It’s not too huge an issue, but it does mean that there is no way to see 3D Blu-ray Disc films with perfect, cinema-quality motion on the D8000 LED LCD TV.

When we tested for motion issues with 50hz (European standard) 3D material – such as that broadcast by Sky in the United Kingdom – we found ourselves surprised by the results. During our first tests, we noticed that sure enough, some judder was present. The most obvious way of seeing this is to engage the 2D-to-3D conversion mode on a 50hz TV channel featuring high-motion text scrolling, such as the BBC News channel’s headline ticker. By default, the UN55D8000 has its [Motion Plus] mode turned on, so judder will be effectively concealed thanks to the interpolation that is going on.

This is a good workaround for high-motion video material such as sporting events, but not so much for films, since it will cause the “soap opera effect”. We then discovered that, if we entered the “General” menu and enabled “Game Mode” with a 50hz 3D source playing, any judder disappeared and was replaced by brilliant, smooth, natural, uninterpolated cinema-quality motion! This is good news for viewers who want to watch movies from the Sky 3D service without unwanted judder, but again, we’re baffled as to why the best level of performance is hidden away in “Game Mode”.

With mixed results in terms of motion judder, what about the biggest 3D problem of all, crosstalk? There’s a small amount still present, but we don’t feel that it’s a deal-breaker anymore: compared to the C8000 3D LED TV we reviewed last summer, crosstalk is greatly reduced. It can still crop up occasionally, for example around the edges of the Golden Gate bridge during Monsters Versus Aliens‘ San Francisco scene, but it was so mild and so rare that we really didn’t find it intolerable. We’re surprised (and relieved) at just how quickly 3D televisions have been improving compared to last year’s models. Couple the greatly reduced crosstalk with the UN55D8000′s ability to produce a bright, and consistently coloured 3D image (its Greyscale tracking is the best we’ve seen yet from a 3D TV), and you can get a sense of how good 3D can look on this display. It’s a shame there’s no satisfactory way to fully avoid judder with film material, though.

Needless to say, understanding how the Samsung UE55D8000 behaves with different types of content is not for the faint of heart. For users who want to see the most accurate, untouched motion, we will soon be publishing picture settings, as well as information on when to use what mode.

Samsung UN55D8000 Every bit as good as I expected

This review is a little long winded. Skip to the bottom for just the pros and cons. Or, keep reading to waste 10 minutes of your life. Over the last 5 years, I have been using a 58" Panasonic Plasma TV. Not a bad TV, but not the greatest either. It was only 1080i, it got hot pretty fast (which made the room hot and the air condition kick on too often), and the dimensions were weird (I looked at entertainment centers that should fit a 60" TV, but the TV still wouldn't fit.). I felt an upgrade was in order.

I'll have to admit, shopping for a TV was pretty fun. A lot of work though. The research was overwhelming at times. Websites upon websites, magazines, books, different people's inputs, salesmen trying to sell you different things depending on which store you went to, etc. I narrowed it down to one of many Sony HDTVs or a Samsung C or D series. After narrowing it down to those 2 brands, it was a little easier. I went to about 4 different Fry's Electronics and 7 different Best Buys to check it out in different situations. After that, it came down to the UN55D8000 (boy, did I memorize those numbers). To make the decision easier, I was looking on Amazon, and to my amazement, they had it for $500 less that everyone else, plus free shipping. Score!

With the free shipping, it usually takes a little longer. I would say, from the time the order was placed, until it got to my front door, it took about 1.5 weeks. It came delivered from Home Direct, USA and had no issues with delivery. They were going to set up the TV, but I told them not to, since my entertainment center hadn't come in yet. I opened up the box, put the TV on a soft cloth (our bed's comforter) and installed the stand. Eight screws, piece of cake. I connected the Directv receiver and a PS3. There are a few settings you will set in the beginning when the TV turns on. Takes about 2 minutes, literally. After that, the fun begins! Going from 1080i to 1080p is a huge difference! I had a recording of Chuck on the DVR and it almost looked live. I also watched some regular satellite programming and even the non-HD channels looked amazing.

After wiping the drool off the floor, I wanted to check out the 3D part of the TV. I popped in the free copy of Shrek the 3rd in the PS3, put on the glasses and waited to be amazed. Aside from the amazing colors, it looked exactly like 2D! WTH?! Then, I remember reading somewhere that the PS3 does indeed play 3D movies, BUT with an upgrade. I waited about 30 minutes for the upgrade to finish. After that, loaded up the dvd again, and there was the movie with that funky 3D image. Hey wait, I have 3D glasses on, how come I see that. Oh, oops. Batteries need to be installed in the glasses. Finally! The 3D image was awesome! Seriously, watching TV in 3D is amazing. I can't wait `til there's more media in 3D. As it stands right now, the only real movies in 3D are either documentaries or cartoons, with the exception of a few regular movies (i.e. Resident Evil, Step Up 3, etc.)

I just set it up last night, so I can't give you a whole lot more information. But, even if I did have more time, I don't think I can give you the detailed specs that you might be looking for. I'm not an expert on home theater. Here's an overview of pros and cons:

PROS:
* The lack of a bigger bezel really does make a difference. Not only aesthetically, but in terms of functionality, too (better 3D viewing. It looks like you're looking thru a window.).
* Images are spectacular. Whether it be regular programming, HDTV programming, or Blu-Ray.
* Price on Amazon was very good!
* Delivery was pain-free.
* A lot of settings options, so you can set up the TV to your preference and the viewing scenario (i.e. movie, standard, etc.)
* 3D movie watching is stunning! I just wish Panasonic didn't have exclusive rights on Avatar.

CONS:
* SmartTV is a cool feature. But, not a necessity. I really doubt that I'll Facebook or Tweet from the TV.
* Audio isn't great, but it's adequate. I wasn't really expecting much from a flat screen TV.
* Did not come with the touch-screen remote as was supposed to be the case in the beginning of the year.
* Have to mail in the vouchers (or register online) in order to get the 3D glasses. True, you do get a 3D starter kit with this TV, which has the glasses, but those glasses are a little different and use batteries. Also, you have to send out to get the free copy of Shrek Forever and Megamind. I really shouldn't complain, though, since these are free.
* Needs a more detailed manual on how to use most of the features. The manual it comes with is thick, but it's just because it's the same thing in different languages.

After playing around with the TV a little more this weekend, I noticed that the top of the screen had some light flickering (around where the bezel meets the screen and it was about 1/16" tall and went almost across the whole TV. I'm hoping it's not the "edge lighting.") It only did this on some channels on Directv. Most channels were fine and Blu-Ray was fine. I'm thinking it's either the receiver or possibly the cheap HDMI cable. I have a Monster M1000 series cable coming in later this week, so I'll switch it out and update.

Also, there has been talk all over online about people having problems pairing the remote. I had zero problem and did it about 5 feet away from the TV. One last thing, one of the glasses in the free 3D kit didn't seem to work. I changed out batteries and nothing. Then, the next morning, I tried it again, but this time turning off the bluetooth in my phone, and it worked. Whether this had an effect on it, I don't know. But, just thought I'd throw that out there.

BTW, this weekend, I watched Tangled in 3D and played MLB2K11 on the PS3...... WOW! I'll have to admit, I liked 3D, but I thought it was just a novelty. No way. 3D is much different now than when we had those blue and red glasses. It changes the whole experience.

Didn't have to do anything to get the line gone. It just went away one day. Also, I finally got the 3D glasses from the voucher that's in the TV. Unfortunately, they are the 3300s and not the 3700s that I kept seeing from people at CES. I won't knock the rating down, but I am a little disappointed that the glasses and the remote that were advertised earlier in the year didn't come with the unit, nor even thru mail. Also, the charger for the glasses is $199! No, thanks. I'll just charge it using the USB cable.

Great HDTV, worth the price.

I bought this HDTV to replace my old 42" LCD Vizio that I bought for 6 years ago. I have a lot of research online and decided it was either a Sony or Samsung off recommendations from friends and based online. I went to my local electronics business, see the TV in action. Although I saw the model of this TV last year. Although I have a beautiful all support black metal for my TV, so I bring silver frame thickness of. notice

I spoke with a colleague told me about the new 2011 model year. Once I saw it I knew it was on TV I wanted. I did a little shopping and found Amazon had the best price. I was a little skeptical about a big online orders.

I used a few complaints about the company, belongs to the ship's TV. I must say I was a good experience. The delivery was agreed at the first hour of my appointment delivery window. The box the TV was a bit "at the bottom of the damage, but nothing was brought to television about.my worries, and I checked and wow this thing is a work of art. And the guys delivery were impressed, they had not the new model.

The HDTV was a little cold to be stored in the warehouse and the truck, so I think everything is installed and connected all the extra (Home Theater, Xbox 360, PS3, cable box, etc.) but I did not the power to make such an about 2 hours to avoid leaving the TV and heating damage. Once I joined, I was greeted with a simple and easy to follow installation and television wireless network.
With the beautiful image, 3D, in many HDMI, USB, Wi-Fi and Samsung SmartTV this is a good option for someone in the high-end market LCD HDTV.

I have read one poor review of this tv stating the led backlight was visible fromt the edges and i have to disagree. i cannot see the backlight source at all. this is by far the best looking tv on the market. I do however wish it had full array led backlighting rather than the dynamic edge.

My only complaint (if you can even call it that) is the remote. is a bit "because of the wide QWERTY on the back and I havent been able to take the side QWERTY to sync with my TV, but always says error .. I would like the touch screen remote control that came with the 9000 series, see forward. It is not so large. I had this TV for a short time, but I recommend this TV, if your budget.

Overall, a beautiful image, 3D, in many HDMI, USB, Wi-Fi and Samsung SmartTV is a good option for someone in the market high-end LED-LCD.

Samsung UN60D7000 Reviews

Cool, I don't interest about 3D. If it were not for the sword thrust to the public, there would be no 3D content. But to get the best image, Today technology has offer, you must purchase the 3D function. I hate the producers to do this publicly, but they have a lot of money riding on the success of 3D. Well, 3D is not going to happen for them in any great numbers.

I compared several large-screen TV, but I kept coming back to the D7000. It seemed smart and the picture was just fantastic. I made a plug in a Blu-ray player on TV and I finished all different, the Samsung was more than they could quantify. Two days later, It was in my living room. The TV is slow to turn on. Is not instantaneous. This long that you get in this life and how precious time waiting for a TV is a waste to come. Samsung engineers need to do better. In any case, give at least five seconds to display the image. When you go online to television, in five or ten seconds are required. Tick. Tick Tick. Dishnetwork arrival I hooked up the receiver. HD had some pictures of landscapes that looked so good I had to pant. My Blu-Ray HD tests mood Aquarium and the color has just jumped off the screen.

I had access to the Internet with wireless is easy to establish. (Then I went to a cable connection, is 5 times faster than my G router) Intelligent Hub The browser is clunky (perhaps it is still too new for me) to use and the browser does not support Java. Very stupid. To have this big TV and do not have Java in your browser to cry. The main screen is full of smart leading content hub that can not be eliminated. Users should have more control here. One thing you learn to hate in your browser Hub intelligent are often the message: Plug-In is not supported. Another message users get tired of it: is the browser stop loading all browser windows stable, even if only one window open. Well, Samsung, get with it! Bring to use the browser.

The remote control (BN59-01134B Samsung QWERTY QTD1 RMC) is flanked. One side of the TV, the other for Internet. It has a full QWERTY keyboard and a touchpad that is half the size of a finger nail. And it works. It takes practice, but it works. The side of the TV remote is IR and RF is the Internet side. The RF part of the remote control must be coupled with the TV. Finally, pointing to the side of the infrared remote sensor must be directly on the bottom right of the screen or do not have a remote control function.

    Samsung PN51D490 Reviews

What can I say - I am amazed and speechless! This is huge. I spent 3 days in my local Best Buy to compare the high-end plasma and LCD, LED for that. And somehow it could not move the price range. I also did a lot of research on plasma before pulling the trigger. AVS Forum is a good place. This plasma TV should consume relatively low energy compared to the old bill of only $28/year. It can be a little more than LCD and LED, but I'm not willing to pay $500 just to save $10/ a year in electricity bills. The final decision was this 3D 51-inch for $750 - it was a bargain. Can not beat that price.

First I went from 42 inches to 51 inches, so the size was just great from the start imcrease. Now for the real picture, you only get better. The colors are bright and vivid blacks does it very well. The color contrast is excellent and the colors really pop. As for the refresh, I see no pixelation or artifacts during fast motion occurs in action movies and sports game. I found particularly impressive since I was looking for some and could not find.

There were only five comments on this TV. So I was a little hesitant, but I'm glad I spent the purchase! Price It' was phenomenal and comes with two pairs of 3D glasses for free. ... The TV is huge and magnificent setting is fine, the Picture quality is great as most critics say they have hung on the fact that the TV is 720p, 1080p, 3D is not worth the price in my opinion, for what they see. And I really can not tell a difference in the quality Samsungs Plasma TV has come a long way, but I think that their LED televisions deliver the best image of both plasma and LCD, will not pay $ 2500! Buy with Confidence is a great TV ... and I have had zero problems with any form of screen burn or otherwise. Samsung says its 2011 models have eliminated the screen burn in issues seen in the models above, the plasma from 2010. ... I love this 3D TV and really exceeded my expectations ... very similar to my Xbox 360 too!

Summary: This is Samsung HD and I like it. Easy to install, extremely sharp 3D images and for about $ 700.00 is very hard to beat! I highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market.

      A Display
First, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.
      A Source
Your display may be ready for 3D playback, but you'll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system.
      3D Content
3D content--the actual entertainment, in other words--will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it's a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game.
      3D Glasses
For now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered "active shutter" glasses, others polarized "passive" glasses. You'll need one pair per viewer, and they'll have to be compatible with your display, whether they're the same brand, or a pair of "universal" glasses designed to work across brands.
      HDMI Cable
To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality.

      Samsung UN65D8000 Reviews

We know that there were many people who buy a TV with the same opening (outside the framework of the TV) and 55-inch television that came out initially thought. They have site 's pictures and possibly CES information that these showed a smaller frame to be misled. Apparently, from what we found, Samsung has decided the small structure can not support the size and went with 2 " brushed metal-looking frame. We have a fleckstoned gray wall and disappears when turning off the lights. Honestly, if you pass the coolness factor of the small opening off the TV really shines, in our humble opinion.

Narrow frame makes it look like it is floating in thin air. It is a great investment and hard to find the 65 inch LED Full HD.

HD channels and Blu-ray in particular do look stunning on this TV. Everything is open only. We feel a lot of comments here to be the bait, because the telescope to the point of success. Fortunately, we have my research first and knew what he was doing. There are many ports on the back, and you should have a lot to get everything together. If you really want to do well, just run everything through a receiver and run a HDMI cable to your TV. If you want to run multiple cables, you can even have different settings for each port. If you like the TV and pop, but we wants to see the movie more like the movies that you can do that too. D8000 was hung on the wall is not too difficult. We did this by a partner. We have a thin wall mount, tilt and it looks good.

Samsung's D6400 LED HDTV series offers Full HD picture quality and entertainment possibilities galore.

Many consumers like the pictures on this TV and us. The picture is absolutely amazing. We compare with 50-inch Samsung DLP TV. We did not really realize what we need with the progress and 1080p LED technology in recent years. Our team will test HDTV 720p and 1080i look at and say that this does not seem normal TV. We finally got last night. The picture is clear that television really shows the feeling that if we are looking through a window into someone's house or maybe watch a live show/event. We can also begin to decipher some of the games are so false that manufacturers use different sitcoms.

HD TV is incredible, we have basic cable HD channels with just basic, got this TV to access content via the Internet. We had to invest in a Linstick, the USB adapter for the Samsung Access Network, is taken more or less, and play, but our 802.11g router was not fast enough, especially for chains in 3D, has had to invest in the 802.11 standard, after which access to SmartHub much improved. Applications are available Smart Hub but expect for the movie channels (Vudu, Netfix, Blockbuster, CinemaNow, Huluplus) other content is still emerging, however, usually, with all the reviews we read Samsung TV applications are ahead of other brands. We are going to use television to access the top quality video streaming and web content and not mind paying to see if the content is good, we hope that Samsung continues to lead the group with the content.

The vision of a Blu-ray, it's almost like watching a video game. The frame rate and clarity are much improved over previous generation that gives you a really new movie-viewing experience. Blu-ray may take some time to get used to me, because they are so realistic that I tend to look only in fear, rather than paying attention to this film.

The 3D feature of this TV surprised us. We do not know what to expect here, but an act of faith because the low price was so amazing. Not only to create 3D depth when watching Blu-ray 3D. The image is really up to you as if you were in the theater. So far, the only experience we had with a couple of IMAX 3D with 3D Blu-ray. 3D to 2D is a bit tricky. We used to watch baseball games and the NHL playoffs and it does add some depth to the image, but probably not enough difference for us to have to wear glasses all the time.

The 3D technology is still new active 3D glasses that are able to achieve is good enough, given that, at a distance of 10 feet, the Grand Canyon and the dinosaur movie, although it was not an IMAX Experience was certainly an experience for 3D. For audio, you may need to connect the TV with additional speakers.

Summary: We are very pleased with the Samsung UN55D6400. The picture is very clear and detailed. The flat screen is super thin and looks great on our fireplace wall. We wondered whether there would be reflected in our window on the screen. There is no glare. And the lowest price on best 3D models. I like watching the team trip on 3D. The images seem to come off the screen and are right in front of you. It also seems that you could really touch something. It really 5 stars 3D TV for us.

        Samsung PN64D7000 Reviews

The TV picture is impressive. There is no better when compared to LCD TVs, it may not be the best choice if you want to use in a well lit room. The blinds in our living room, do not block much light, and the picture is not so dazzling in the afternoon. Once the room is dark, but Hulu and Netflix More applications are better than their counterparts from Sony. The biggest scam to me was that instant access Amazon Video This feature of the model for television in 2009, but just not on TV.

This plasma is the best picture I've ever seen. Go online to see comments AVS Forum is the owner and the picture quality is very high. The picture is impressive and mostly well behaved. We have some problems, always annoying when the sound is muted or low. Samsung needs to address this issue, you'll last long. Fluctuating black levels have been reported by some owners, we have one of them. My game on colorful dangling black bars when watching a movie. For us it is very annoying and I see the replacement of our game, if you can get better about it. Certainly a new design that went wrong.

We like plasma technology. We have two of each brand are Panasonic and Samsung are not here to bash, but it makes the buyer aware of potential pitfalls. Scholarship and get a good Samsung recognizes and solves these problems existed. Stand is very wobbly on this model may be wall mounted, if possible.

3D viewing distance of 12 feet to 20 feet still see images from 2D to 3D conversion good. Samsung actually helps better with DVD. The blu ray show a greater depth, but obviously not pop off the screen. 600 Mhz effective plasma really impressive sports events and action again, no blur. TV is easy to install, the average remote control, built in Wi-Fi device has great potential, but the D7000 has a browser.

This plasma is great, the only bad thing is that you are not able to preffered the cable goes out and if you need to select the cable connection is boring.

At first the TV to put a little time setup. You need HDMI 1.4 for all work in 3D. And you can play your TV, but you really need to get your image depending on the source and the lighting of your room to sharpen. We set up and adjust the images. We hope that you can usually adjust the image for all sources, but after seeing a favorable moment for our cable tuner input, we realized that our PC, Blu-Ray, PS3 and refine the inputs separately. This is probably the biggest criticism we have on television. To schedule an afternoon to spend a day setting of the image. The menus are both fine. They are beautiful, but could be better.

        Samsung UN46D8000 3D

A 3D glasses are included in this set. It is the nature. SSG-3100GB Samsung 3D active glasses (only compatible with the Samsung 3D TV with 2011) The glasses are design that the mouthpiece removed. We are the type of battery with 2 micro-USB cable. Eyewear can be recharged USB ports from TV output (if the TV is on) or a different USB port/charger.

Keep in mind, for the year 2011, Samsung has changed the way we communicate with glasses on TV. They have opted for Bluetooth vs. IR, resulting in 3D glasses for the models manufactured before 2011 are not compatible with the televisions. We've seen third party glasses advertised as compatible with 2010 and 2011, so we  suggest you be absolutely sure you know what you order.

If you plan to mount the TV to the wall, the new design uses plastic spacers that make the hardware supplied with wall brackets compatible with this TV. Make sure you have the right size for the screws to connect the TV to the mount. I used four screws M8-1.25x25 with 2 washers. The screws supplied with wall support were either too short or too long.

The wireless technology Wi-Fi works well. We had no problems connecting to my home network operating at 5 GHz WPA2-PSK (AES) security using WPS (WiFi Protected Setup).

The QWERTY remote control is included with this TV. QWERTY remote side must be combined with television, which has worked on the third test. We believe that we should be closer to the TV for this. There is also a Samsung App for the iPhone that turns your iPhone into a remote control. Unlike similar applications, Sony, Samsung lets you turn your party. We can not continue with this application, of course, because the TV must be turned on in order to communicate with this. The application works very well for what it is.

HDMI Return channel audio works as advertised. You must remember to connect the HDMI port, even if HDMI2 (marked "ARC" for the audio return channel). Do you have a compatible receiver ARC eliminates the need for optical cable between the TV and receiver to listen to the audio or network DTV tuner widget.

The image quality of the dish network HD channels out of the box was not very satisfactory, and some tweaking was needed. Sometimes, the screen should have a shade or two darker than suddenly in the middle of a scene. There are several parameters that might have something to do, and we must adapt to another until the best image.

3D looks absolutely beautiful. Our Blu-ray player (BDP), complained that he could not find a 3D-connected TV. However, the BDP was the same as they had disabled 3D feature by default.

Summary: This TV is excellent, the picture quality/features/appearance and much more. it was time to incorporate gadgets on TV, all the clutter on your TV. Access such as Internet access, DLNA, browser, QWERTY remote are a step in the right direction. There are other TVs that offer, but Samsung has done a great job UN55D8000 in this regard. We recommended that certain prices.

I not know where to start, but this television is one of the best TV 3D I've ever seen. First I had to choose between Samsung 46-inch C6300 and this. In terms of price, this TV has a reasonable price is a lot of functions that applications from Samsung to have. The 46-inch Samsung UN46C6300 has fewer features and cost almost the same (I paid $65 more for this TV which include 3D on the Samsung 46-inch UN46C6300 comparison).

Its design is also very nice and smooth, also very thin. There is a sense of a 46-inch 3D TV, after all install. If you still have time to reflect, check your TV to the person in any store that sells Samsung TV, it is well worth it. The thing I liked about this TV is the level of color, especially black levels. Sometimes when you watch TV you would think that the TV is off! Thus although the black level on this TV. The picture quality is very very high (of course, Full  HD movies, etc ...), and really smooth (120Hz) I really like what you see.
This TV has a feature movies that is a good 3D conversion and video in 3D (3D glasses must be purchased separately), but I must stress that the non-3D movies is not the same-time 3D movies Is a real big difference (but it's worth trying to match the settings of the 3D games). Of course, there are more televisions there, but if I had to recommend to this TV with a really great quality, great features and great price, it would certainly be one of them.
